My name is Alasdair, and I am a trainee in Compulsive Sexual Behaviour, completing the CICS Diploma with Controlling Chemsex as my clinical placement. I am a COSRT and BACP registered practitioner, and I hold an MSc in Contemporary Psychosexual Therapy. I also have specialist training as a COFRA practitioner through StopSO.

My clinical background spans addiction counselling and psychosexual therapy, and I have worked with people facing significant vulnerability and complexity in their lives. This has shaped my belief that effective support must be rooted in genuine compassion and a complete absence of judgement.

I am passionate about working with people who feel on the margins, whether because of their relationship with substances, sex, or their sense of self. Chemsex sits at where all three meet, and I feel honoured to be part of a team that meets people there with care and without shame.
