Hello, my name is Matthew and I am thrilled to serve as the Care Coordinator as well as a Chemsex Specialist Advisor here at Controlling Chemsex.

My passion lies in empowering individuals to reconnect with their goals and aspirations. I believe that people struggling with chemsex can reclaim control of their lives and pursue their dreams, even if it feels impossibly difficult. As chemsex continues to be a growing challenge, particularly within the MSM community, I believe that it's in providing compassion and understanding rather than judgement that we'll tackle this phenomenon. We all face moments where we need support, and I am honored to be there for those reaching out.

As an ICF accredited coach, I work with individuals and organizations on personal and professional development, both one-on-one and within group settings. Originally from Canada, I have lived in various countries over the past decade, fostering a passion for collaboration across cultures and languages. My love of learning languages fuels this passion, allowing me to connect with people from all backgrounds.

In addition to my work with Controlling Chemsex, I have been a volunteer with an LGBTQIA+ Support Line since 2021, where I also mentor other volunteers and am currently the coordinator of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion team.
