• PSYCHOSEXUAL AND RELATIONSHIP THERAPIST

Hello, my name is David, and I am a sex and relationship therapist with extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community. In my career to date I have had the privilege of working with some of the UK's leading sexual health organizations, such as the 56 Dean Street sexual health clinic and Controlling Chemsex.

I am a trained counsellor and qualified sex and relationship therapy. Before specializing in this field, I was involved in counselling children who had experienced trauma and abuse. My dedication to aiding children who face these challenges remains a commitment of mine.

Currently I am supporting clients with a range of psychosexual issues including erectile difficulties, premature and delayed ejaculation, compulsive sexual behaviours, shame, loss of erectile function due to medical procedures and disabilities, painful sex, low sexual desire and kink.

I understand the complexity of chem use, including some of the legacy issues that can arise post recovery. With the right support, understanding and with the skills being developed at organisations like Controlling Chemsex we can work together to help you get the life you want.

My therapeutic approach is pluralistic, which means I employ a wide range of techniques that best suit each person. This includes utilizing cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, drawing from attachment theory, and incorporating mindfulness techniques. My goal is to empower individuals to gain insight into their behaviours, help them understand the underlying reasons, and facilitate positive change.
